The tarball release for 0.5.7 contains the various deprecated flags (E.g
-DGNOME_DISABLE_DEPRECATED=1 -DGCONF_DISABLE_DEPRECATED=1
-DGTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED=1 -DGDK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED=1
-DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED=1). These should be turned on in tarball releases
(So I'm told)

This causes the build to fail under garnome with recent GTK etc.

Fixed in CVS, 0.5.8 coming soon.
