Description Benjamin Otte (Company) 2003-11-14 19:10:25 UTC
<giard> which gst cvs part has the 'gstreamer-libs-0.7.pc'?
<giard> rhythmbox is complaining it can't find it
<giard> but I have a cvs gst installed

It's not clear to people why you need to install gst-plugins to get a file
named "gstreamer-libs-0.7.pc".
On Debian "gstreamer-libs-0.7.pc" is part of gstreamer-plugin-libs-dev?!
Comment 1 Leif Johnson 2003-12-03 18:33:11 UTC
what about gstreamer-plugins-0.7.pc ?

if we end up splitting out a gstreamer-gnome package (which i think we
should do), it would make sense to have such a .pc name in the
gst-plugins module ...
Comment 2 David Schleef 2004-03-06 03:58:17 UTC
Marking urgent so that someone can fix it before 0.8.
Comment 3 Benjamin Otte (Company) 2004-03-09 21:16:57 UTC
marking blocker so we don't forget it again.
Comment 4 Thomas Vander Stichele 2004-03-15 22:27:44 UTC
created gstreamer-plugins.pc, keeping the old one around for a while.
