Description Paul Belt 2003-10-08 01:47:05 UTC
When switching desktops with workspace switcher-2.4.0 ... it would apear it
mis-calculates where to place the windows.

Some new apps appear off the screen.

If I didn't figure out ALT-drag to move the window, I would assume the
desktop was buggy. To a newbie, this could be devistating.

Forget newbies; this is devastating for me. I've been using sawfish
for a couple of years. Silly me: I forgot about ALT-drag. Thanks for
reminding me. The obvious question is whether this should be
considered a bug in sawfish or workspace-switcher. Since nothing
changed in sawfish, but an upgrade of GNOME from 2.2 to 2.4 started
this problem, I'd guess that it's not sawfish's fault.
