In gst-editor 0.5.0, Loading a previous made pipeline works. As in, it
shows up on the screen. When I click 'Add' and select an element to add, it
won't be added. There's no error/warning message or anything.
Adding to the pipeline works when you start from scratch.

This appears to have been fixed at some point in the past, since I
can't reproduce it.
