GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 120373
Cdrom drive spinning up starting nautilus
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Running nautilus HEAD on redhat 9. This bug occurs with or without magicdev running. With an unmounted cd in one of my 2 cdrom drives launching nautilus causes my cdrom drive to spin up. This causes a delay logging into gnome, or opening nautilus from the application menu or a terminal. I also confirmed this in a default session without magicdev or any of gnome running. This also makes my pc very noisy when using nautilus...
