Description Cesar Garcia Tapia 2003-08-19 10:24:13 UTC
I would like to propose one or two possible improvements to your great
image viewer, the best one i've tested for gnome2.

First of all, in the slide view, I can only choose two directions: forward
and backward. What about a random order? It could be very useful.

Another improvement I would like is adding a complete directory to a
catalog, instead of adding it one image each time. Maybe an "add to
catalog" entry in the popup menu. This could show a catalog asking if the
user want to add recursively (the directory and all the subdirectories), or
not.

One more thing: I would like to see the directory browser and the catalog
browser at the same time. Maybe hidding the preview frame, I don't know,
but this way I can see easily what files I'm adding to the catalog.

Well, thank you very much, and congratulations for your work.

Please try and keep to one issue/bug/suggestion per report, it makes
managing bugzilla much easier.

bug 120495 also asks about Slideshow Randomisation so please add
yourself to the CC list of that bug report if you want to keep track
of the feature request.

I have changed the summary so that you can better know the details
from just the summary.

Marking as obsolete, as this was reported for an unspecified / now-unsupported version and no recent activity has occurred.

Please feel free to reopen this bug report if it describes a bug that still occurs with a current version of gThumb.
