If the sheet tabs have background and/or text colors, then only the active
sheet shows that color.

fixed by applying the color also to the active state.

While this reduces the differentiation between selected and
non-selected sheets, it is up to the user to decide whether to apply
these colours. If we don't make the colours visible, the whose point
of having colours available is moot.
