Description Vincent van Adrighem 2003-08-01 09:03:04 UTC
Maintainer per package. You know who maintains a package, and you can claim
the free packages.

The gnome-ro project already has such a system.

Also, statuspages per maintainer. Quickly get an overview of your own
translation status.
Comment 2 Carlos Perelló Marín 2003-08-01 09:29:11 UTC
The idea to implement this feature is use the .po headers to get the
last translator and last update fields, this way is the best one to
have an updated information.
Comment 3 Carlos Perelló Marín 2003-10-06 19:19:37 UTC
Please, look at the new status pages design and add any suggestion
about them

Cheers.
Comment 4 Danilo Segan 2006-07-31 19:22:09 UTC
This is planned as part of /people interface for damned lies. Not yet implemented, though.

I think language maintainers should do that. Sometimes the committer may make a tweak or two before committing the file, rendering the file his.

I, as a Slovak translation coordinator, would like to see something like this as (an optional) feature in Vertimus where a team coordinator could assign one of translators to a particular module.

This would mean that only this translator could perform "Reserve for translation" action. Even better, the "Reserve for translation" action will not be required at all.

Thanks.
Comment 7 Jorge González 2009-01-19 18:30:06 UTC
I, as Spanish translation team coordinator, would also like to see it :)

Thanks.
Comment 8 Stephane Raimbault 2009-01-20 22:02:01 UTC
The code maintainer of each package is displayed and the coordinator of each translation team too.

Vertimus says who is working on each package (and you can reserve free package).

#1 The new version of Damned Lies provides a status page by translator.

This bug contains too many points, feel free to open a new one if required.
Comment 9 Marcel Telka 2009-01-22 22:02:01 UTC
I filed the new one: 568770. Thanks.
