Description Joshua N Pritikin 2003-07-25 03:06:42 UTC
I'm doing MPEG1 playback with user controlled seeking.
Maybe 5% of the time, the clock get confused and waits too long.
Is there some inaccuracy in determining the current time when
the clock restarts? The clock gets unstuck eventually, but it
takes about 1 minute which feels like an eternity.

In the attached GST_CLOCK=5 trace, search for the word "abnormal" to see
where the clock waited too long. Is there any additional information I can
provide?

Wow, I haven't look at this code for quite a while. I'll get back to
it eventually. The new clock design definitely sounds like an
improvement. For now, I'm changing this bug status to NEEDINFO.

Comment 6 Joshua N Pritikin 2004-07-06 15:47:14 UTC
Nope, and I don't have time to test it right now.

Assuming this fixed. Closing.
