when clicking the middle mouse button without a valid url selected, galeon
opens a new window, then shows a dialog that the url is invalid. so i have
to close first the dialog, then the new window. it would be nice if it 
checked the validity of the url before opening the new window. especially
since the middle mouse button also opens a link in a new window, and it
happens quite often that i miss the link.

We should also try to recognize valid, but not supported URLs.

Galeon has not seen any code changes since May 2010:

This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived in GNOME Git.

It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone
takes the responsibility for active development again.
