Description Robert 2003-06-28 08:54:17 UTC
Please change the string "Module browser" to only "Modules..."
Comment 1 Janne 2003-06-28 11:47:19 UTC
it's in module-browser.c:121

A reason for this change would be that the term "browser" does not
really reflect accurately the purpose of the function, as it is as
much about enabling and disabling modules as browsing them. This makes
translations (at least to Swedish) rather awkward.
Comment 2 Sven Neumann 2003-06-30 11:59:22 UTC
Would "Modules..." really be a better choice for a menu entry that
opens a dialog that allows to list and manage the available modules?
I'd like to hear a second opinion here.
Comment 3 Janne 2003-06-30 12:42:52 UTC
A better suggestion would be "Module Manager", perhaps? It does cover
the functionality of the dialogue quite well, and there is precedent
for using the term in this manner.

	* app/gui/dialogs.c
	* app/gui/module-browser.c
	* app/gui/toolbox-menu.c: changed "Module Browser" to "Module
	Manager" as suggested in bug #116171.
