during make comnad i obtain the following error. I reinstalled gcc to see
if th eerror was not in the compiler but still the error is here

collect[2]: ld terminated with signal 15 [Terminated]: core dumped
make[5]: ***[ligtkmm-2.0.la]Error 1

i am not sure what is the meaning of this bug

What distro and compiler are you using?

What was the default compiler with that distro, before you 
reinstalled it? Or did you just install the same one? Did you install 
the compiler from source or RPM/deb?

distro is slackware 9.0
compiler teh native gcc 3.2.2
yes it is the defaul installer . i wbnted to see if it had any
troubles during reinstall but no. so i reinstalled the same again. And
i reinstalled is from the isntall cd packages.

This error generally suggests memory problems. Please reopen if
anybody can reproduce this error on another computer. Sorry.
