GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 113936
xvideosink does not support hw-scaling for RGB streams
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Any RGB stream will cause the xvideosink to internally use std. ximage instead of xvimages. This is even true if the graphics device supports RGB hw scaling. Thus using a RGB video filter before the xvideosink will change the scaling characteristics of the xvideosink.
Fixed in HEAD. Unlikely to be backported to 0.6.
