GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 112695
Paste in Header with ^V doesn't work
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
When pressing CTRL+V or selecting Edit -> Paste to paste a text from the clipboard while the cursor is in one of the header lines (Newsgroup, Suject, ...), the text is inserted into the body. Shift+Insert and Right Click -> Paste work. I'd expect the text to be pasted wherever the cursor is; ie. I'd expect the text to appear in the header.
How odd. I don't know why it does that.
Aha, now I know why it does it. :) Fixed in CVS: http://cvs.gnome.org/bonsai/cvsview2.cgi?diff_mode=context&whitespace_mode=show&subdir=pan/pan&command=DIFF_FRAMESET&file=message-window.c&rev1=1.369&rev2=1.370&root=/cvs/gnome http://cvs.gnome.org/bonsai/cvsview2.cgi?diff_mode=context&whitespace_mode=show&subdir=pan&command=DIFF_FRAMESET&file=ANNOUNCE.html&rev1=1.183&rev2=1.184&root=/cvs/gnome
