GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 112376
mime type option to always save to file missing
Last modified: 2014-08-26 19:51:28 UTC
forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=190371 Galeon 1.2.x had a feature of always saving user-specified MIME types to file, rather than asking for a helper application. In Galeon2, this feature seems to be missing, and I cannot find any UI either in Galeon2 Preferences or in the Gnome2 Control Center for it.
Needs some support from gnome-vfs. teuf, was something like this being considered in gnome-vfs?
There is a function to do that at the moment (something like gnome_vfs_mime_add_key), but people don't really agree whether this should be done per app or in gnome-vfs (for my part I'd rather do it in gnome-vfs)
