GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 112375
commands to add menu bar, status bar, location bar, etc disappeared
Last modified: 2014-08-26 19:49:22 UTC
forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=190141 When a web site uses JavaScript to pop up a window with controls like menu bar, location bar, and status bar disabled, there is no apparent way to get them back. This is a regression from Galeon 1.2.x, which had key bindings to toggle all of those controls. (I think 1.2.x may have also had a popup menu item to restore the menu bar, although I'm not certain of that part.)

Galeon has not seen any code changes since May 2010: https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/galeon/log This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived in GNOME Git. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
