Description Julien MOUTTE 2003-04-10 13:28:56 UTC
Since xvideosink is not leaking anymore it's windows, it makes my window
manager totally crazy...

when gst-player startup i see content from other desktops appearing.. all
windows are moved they go under the GNOME panels and it flickers before
coming back to the desktop where gst-player was originally launched.

This needs to be fixed before 0.6.1 or we should continue leaking windows...
Comment 1 Benjamin Otte (Company) 2003-04-10 13:40:26 UTC
Fixed in HEAD

btw: Due to those many changes, I'm starting to favor leaking windows
in 0.6.1 and fix this in 0.6.2 or not at all, though that might lead
to weird behgaviour...
Comment 2 Julien MOUTTE 2003-04-10 13:44:10 UTC
I agree 100% we are leaking those windows since monthes.. we can
afford continue that way for 0.6.1 and fix that in HEAD
Comment 3 Ronald Bultje 2003-04-10 14:00:02 UTC
0.6.1 is already leaking windows and I wasn't planning on fixing that
to be honest... Only ready-made and well-tested patches should go into
0.6.1.

Hm, then why are all those other patches in 0.6.1? *whistles*.
