Description Mark Howard 2003-03-26 16:30:47 UTC
http://bugs.debian.org/158190 requests:

I would like to be able to make the history omit certain URL's. When
I access my online banking, for instance, I access an initial URL that
remains the prefix for only part of the transaction, then it redirects
me to another URL... I would like the history to only save the
initial URL that I type, and not the other ones. They all show up in
the autocompletion history, but most are clutter.

Perhaps a list of regular expressions for elided URL's would work
fine, in general. The interface should allow entering each one on a
line by itself, perhaps in a text widget or an extending list of entry
boxes or something.
