RFE: Display cookie data in additional columns of cookie list dialog
Last modified: 2014-08-26 19:50:06 UTC
It's annoying to have to click on each cookie in turn and then click Properties to see all the data associated with cookies. Meantime there's all this screen space to the right of the cookie name going to waste. Please add additional columns to this display which show all the data associated with each cookie.
The cookie information for the currently selected cookie is now displayed below the list box. Although not in the list box (which IMO would make it too wide), at least you don't have to click through to the properties dialog anymore.
I'm assuming this is in 1.3.12, which I don't have yet, but I must respectfully disagree with the "it would be too wide" assertion. There are acres and acres of blank white space to the right of the cookie site and name in the dialog box. Why not put that space to use? And that way you could see the data for more than one cookie at once, and you could easily compare them. Please reconsider.
Galeon has not seen any code changes since May 2010: https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/galeon/log This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived in GNOME Git. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
