Description Dimitri Chausson 2003-03-19 21:39:55 UTC
Description of Problem:

displayed document, but they are white.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start GGV
2. Open a PS document
3.

Actual Results:
Blank pages are displayed

Expected Results:
Should see the content of the document

How often does this happen?
Always

Additional Information:
GGV version 1.99.98

The postcript document seems valid because I can display it with
Ghostscript . Version used : GNU Ghostscript 7.05 (2002-04-22)

I can provide additional informations if required

I have this same problem too, on FreeBSD 4.8-RC, 5.0-RELEASE, and
other folks have it too (discussed on gnome@freebsd.org mailing list)
Comment 2 Pav Lucistnik 2003-03-21 09:21:25 UTC
More: When I remove my LOCALE settings, ggv works! But with czech,
slovak, or any non-english locales it renders blank pages.
Comment 3 Pav Lucistnik 2003-03-21 10:52:11 UTC
Update: this works for me:

export LANG=cs_CZ.ISO_8859-2
export LC_MESSAGES=C
Comment 4 Jaka Mocnik 2003-03-21 21:46:07 UTC
this was fixed in CVS HEAD about 3 weeks ago and, as of now, it is
fixed in gnome-2-2 branch as well.
