Description Gollum 2003-03-02 04:36:22 UTC
When clicking (selecting) one of the toolbar filters "Show Only
Replies to My Articles" or "Show Only watched Articles", then the
option "Show Matching Articles And Replies" under "Filter" is
automatically selected, regardless of the previous "Show" state.

When deselecting the toolbar filter, then the option "Show Matching
Articles and References" is automatically selected, regardless of the
previous "Show" state.

When changing the "Show" state after applying one of these two
toolbar filters, the toolbar filter is automatically disabled.

Since I usually prefer using "Show Threads with Matching Articles",
this makes these two toolbar filters rather useless.

I think this bug (?) was introduced in one of the 0.13.3.9x releases.
I first observed it in beta 4 for Windows, and mentioned this in a
reply to the Pan-users mailing list on Jan 17. I don't believe I
saw it in the corresponding Linux version (0.13.3.90).

I think this was introduced as a 'feature', but I agree: I did't like
it very much either. :)
