When canceling a task the following assertion pops up:

(Pan.exe:1424): pan-CRITICAL **: file sockets.c: line 257 
(pan_socket_putline): assertion `!sock->error' failed

Confirmed.  This isn't a serious error  but it should be cleaned up.
This seems to be consistently reproducable.
