GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 105986
Change mouse cursor shape over URLs
Last modified: 2008-05-29 19:36:00 UTC
Hi, http://bugs.debian.org/180673 Could you implement that like in libzvt ?
It's a little bit more complicated than that because the widget doesn't "know" that the text the cursor is over is a URL. It could just as easily be an S/Key prompt or some other pattern the terminal registered for recognition (the terminal can register an arbitrary number of such patterns). Probably the terminal could provide a way for the app to specify the cursor to be used when the app registers a pattern. If done this way, I doubt it would show up in a gnome-terminal 2.2 release, as that's more likely a 2.4 feature.
Should be fixed in HEAD.
Thanks.
This nug is not fixed in 0.11.10
Yes, it is. VTE supports it. Reassigning to gnome-terminal, which still does not make use of it.
Fixed in svn trunk.
