Description Mattias Eriksson 2003-02-10 09:43:11 UTC
Using version 0.99.8

If I enter a bad password I get a dialog informing me that I don't have the
premission to access the share. If I then accesses the share again
(expecting to get a chance to enter the correct password) I just get the
same information again. the smb module should not remember bad logins, and
it would be nice to have a "forget credentials" option.
Comment 1 Alexander Larsson 2003-02-11 12:36:47 UTC
I think this is fixed in nautilus 2.2.1, can you test it?
Comment 2 Mattias Eriksson 2003-02-14 13:58:43 UTC
Just tested with 2.2.1 and I still have this problem. If I give bogus
username and password I never get a chance to correct it.
Comment 3 Alex Malinovich 2003-06-06 01:41:59 UTC
I can verify this bug as of Nautilus 2.2.3.1 and gnome-vfs-extras
0.99.8. The only way to re-enter information is by doing a "killall
nautilus" and then trying to access the share again. If you need any
more detailed info to get this out of NEEDINFO status, just let me know.
Comment 4 Bastien Nocera 2003-07-22 21:42:39 UTC
This is fixed in version 0.99.11 with a new enough libsmbclient (samba
3.0beta recommended)
