Description Mark Finlay 2003-01-22 20:42:39 UTC
Some programs like kudzu add items to /etc/fstab for plug and play hardware
(like digital cameras). It would be great if nautilus could pick this up and
update the Disks menu in the desktop context menu accordingly.

ATM one has to restart nautilus which isn't very plug and playish.

I have a patch for this sitting around, it needs a bit of testing.

Comment 3 Marius Andreiana 2003-02-10 13:54:45 UTC
Mark, this was the duplicate of bug #96847 ( as it can be seen from
bug id, this one is bigger ), not the other way.

Also from bug #96847, Ben asks if FAM can be used for this
Comment 4 Mark Finlay 2003-02-10 19:35:13 UTC
Ah ok, Sorry. You can swap them if you want. I just marked the other
one as duplicate because dave camp has the code and he commented on
this bug so it seemed more relevent.
Comment 5 Mark Finlay 2003-06-11 16:14:21 UTC
Dave: This is in XD2 so it must be stable enough for gnome 2.3.x
