Description Mark Finlay 2003-01-04 21:38:08 UTC
When I add a server to network:// it does not get shown in network://
until i restart nautilus. Even refreshing the window or closing it
and opening it again does not work.

I do not have FAM working but that should not be necessary really.
Comment 1 Alex Duggan 2003-01-08 19:12:25 UTC
I can confirm this. It works fine if you are using fam. If you are
using nautilus without fam, when you add a new server you have to kill
nautilus to see the new server. Refreshing the page with the refresh
button show show the new server. Is this a nautilus issue or
gnome-vfs issue?
Comment 2 Bastien Nocera 2003-01-13 11:26:49 UTC
This is due to the vfolder code not working properly. It really needs
fixing. Shall I update this to be a gnome-vfs bug ?
Comment 3 Andrew Sobala 2003-01-18 17:42:40 UTC
Moving to gnome-vfs then.

Comment 5 Mark Finlay 2003-01-29 19:13:12 UTC
103222 Shows that this also occurs with applications:// so it is
a general problem with vfolders. This makes it more urgent IMHO
as it makes menu editing very hard without FAM.
Comment 6 Mark Finlay 2003-02-09 16:01:22 UTC
Changing title to reflect the vfs nature of this bug.
Comment 7 Mark Finlay 2003-08-29 12:17:57 UTC
This still hasn't been looked at. Changing to GNOMEVER2.3 but will
prob end up being GNOMEVER2.5

Just checked and this still seems to be a problem.

Comment 9 Kjartan Maraas 2005-01-04 22:12:40 UTC
Closing this since the vfolder method has been removed. Please file bugs against
gnome-menus if this is still a problem in 2.9.x
