Description Andre Spiegel 2002-12-26 15:13:23 UTC
Since I upgraded to Gnumeric version 1.0.11 (debian unstable), Latin-1
characters in one of my files are garbled when I save and re-open the file.
Looking at the uncompressed xml, I see that, for example, the german a
umlaut character:

 ä

becomes

 ä

after I save and re-open the file. This sequence becomes longer and longer
when I subsequently edit, save, and re-open the file, leading, for example, to:

  ä

and the like.

The bug has not been present up until version 1.0.10.
