GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 101805
implement printing
Last modified: 2005-07-14 20:34:09 UTC
Can't print images from eog now
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This bug report isn't very useful because it doesn't describe the bug well. If you have time and can still reproduce the bug, please read http://bugzilla.gnome.org/bug-HOWTO.html and add a more useful description to this bug. Thanks.
Simon: Marius was merely reporting that the EOG program doesn't have an option to print (it doesn't appear in the "File" menu or elsewhere). This is merely a request to implement that.
OK. My request was for more specific version info as this may of been fixed in the latest version. I can see now that this isn't the case. Notes: Changed version to CVS HEAD. Added GNOMEVER2.7 and bugsquad keywords.
EOG has printing now, but it doesn't work. More details here: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=117029 Changing Enhancement -> Bug
the print option is not there in 2.9.1 version of EOG. But it was there in 2.6.1.
All the timer were there was an print option it never really worked. Therefore I decided to remove it from 2.6 to 2.8. Just for clarification.

Created attachment 49169 [details] [review] Patch that implements print support for eog There's still a little problem with page margins. Please check this one before committing! I don't know how to translate the GnomePaper API to the GNOME 2.0 platform. Yet it's in a usable state for images that aren't to large to fit on a paper.
#8: Tim Gerla: Can you please review this patch? I can commit it for you if you want me to do this.
