Seeing this as well with GNOME 2.1.5 installed though GARNOME 0.19.5.
Created attachment 13273 [details] [review] patch to fix theme applet issues
The above patch removes duplicate code that was causing the two nautilus windows to open. It also changes the "Go to folder" button for icons to got to ~/.icons. So in effect it fixes this bug, but the "Install" button for icons still installs into ~/.themes I'm going to keep working and try to fix that. In the mean time it would be great to get this committed.
I've posted another patch to bug 102216 about the install button. So this patch can be commited if ppl are happy with it, and this bug closed.
TARGET=2.2.0 to raise visibility of this bug to fix this usability problem by 2.2.0. Please review the patch.
