Description Steve Smith 2002-12-15 03:01:16 UTC
To reproduce:

Start totem and some other gnome-aware multimedia applications (I used
rhythmbox and xmms). Start them playing. Adjust the volume in totem.

Result: Volume of other applications changes with totem. Note that
adjusting the volume of xmms or rhythm box does not have the same effect.

Also, this still occurs when xmms is configured for OSS output, suggesting
that totem is messing with the system mixer.

This is under Debian testing and Garnome 0.19.3
