Description Murray Cumming 2002-12-09 17:18:08 UTC
The section "Technical Details for Proper Layout" should just be deleted.
People should just use GtkFrame and hope that GtkFrame is fixed in future
to comply with the HIG.

Comment 2 Gregory Merchan 2002-12-11 08:16:31 UTC
The instructions are commented out.
I'm leaving this open with the summary changed to
"Revise..." instead of "Remove..."
Comment 3 Dave Cook 2003-08-06 09:33:38 UTC
Should this section be ignored now? It doesn't seem to match up with
the diagram above it. For example, the "technical details" specify
"Set the Spacing on the GtkHBox to 6," but the diagram shows a
horizontal spacing of 12 between label and control.
Comment 4 Murray Cumming 2003-08-06 09:42:14 UTC
The technical details section should be completely updated for GNOME
2.6, which will be able to use the indented GtkAlignment from GTK+
2.4. I doubt that there will be any HIG release before then, so I
wouldn't worry until then.

Retitling.
Comment 6 Calum Benson 2010-03-06 01:23:31 UTC
We removed the offending section several years ago :)
