Description Jon Nall 2002-12-08 21:32:02 UTC
there is riff parsing code in both
gst-libs/gst/riff
and
gst/wavparse

this makes debugging tough since some functions are called the same thing.
depending on which is loaded first (libgstriff.so or libgstwavparse.so) you
could get differing functionality unless both are kept in sync. this isn't
a bug per se, but something that i came across and should probably fixed
for the devs' sanity sake.

Re-assigning to Wim. He is making a new riff library which will
consolidate the situation :)

A few functions migrated, and fixing regressions, and it's done.
