What version of libzvt do you have installed? The sooner we get that information, the better :) Thanks!
It is version 1.117.0
I am not able to reproduce the crash. I did the following 1. opened a file in gedit, cut a block of text. 2. opened a vi editor in gnome-terminal and pasted it.(i did pasting both the ways pressing shift+ctrl+v and edit->paste using mouse) Result: Cut/paste works as expected. I used the June 18th source code of gnome-terminal (ver 2.0.0) and libzvt (1.99999) for testing.
It was an strange, one time crash. I have been using gnome-terminal wit cut&paste and other things, and this was the first crash. I was only sending because maybe the debug could show the problem. If not, I'm not able to reproduce it and we can close the bug.
