Information from Gimp bug-report tools

Gimp rectangular-select copy/paste only pastes correctly once.

When pasting a selected section a second time, then the 2nd pasted section usually does appear, but moving it around fails.

Selecting a second time (after a first paste) is also often not possible, the selection stays empty (so doing a rectangular select from left top to lower right does only show an empty selection at lower right).

Workaround is to select a different tool (pencil for example) and then try rectangular-selection again. Then the tool usually works properly again (for one paste action).

The (type of) image I was working on is an indexed png with transparency. An example of such image can be found at:

Selecting/pasting a second time also crashed once. Attached the two pieces of information provided by the Gimp bug-reporter tool.
