Description Dan Siemon 2002-04-23 15:41:28 UTC
Package: nautilus
Severity: major
Version: CVS 2002-04-22
Synopsis: Desktop icon trouble with Xinerama
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Desktop

Description:
Description of Problem:
My setup:
Xinerama: Head 1: 1024x768, Head 2: 1280x1024
This configuration produces a 'dead' area under the first head. The
nautilus 'Clean up by name' option places icons in this dead area. This
makes the desktop useless with more than a few icons.

Expected Results:
Nautilus should respect the Xinerama screen sizes.

Additional Information:
This is not just a HEAD issue. This behavior has been around for a long
time.
