Description Don Pellegrino 2018-01-25 17:50:21 UTC
Using the Shotwell Sidebar to select an Apple iPad device under Camera, it is possible to import pictures and videos from the device. When the files have been imported, a dialog box is presented offering a button to delete the imported files from the device. When delete is selected, the dialog closes. No errors or warnings are reported. The files are not deleted from the device.

Test system:

Shotwell as distributed by Ubuntu with package 0.26.3-1ubuntu1

Test camera device:

Apple iPad Model MK9P2LL/A, iOS 11.2.5
Settings -> Photos -> Transfer to Mac or PC -> Set to Automatic (default)
Device was connected via USB
