Description Bastien Nocera 2018-01-12 13:49:42 UTC
Similarly to the supported "appstream", "apt" and "snap" URL schemes, Software should probably support a "flatpak" or "flatpakref" scheme so that clicking on a Flatpakref URL on Flathub opens in Software directly.

The flow, with epiphany, is currently something like:
- Click on app in Flathub
- Flatpakref file shows up in the downloads quickly
- Click the downloaded file to open it up in Software
- Downloaded file stays on the local disk until manually removed

Instead the URL should be passed directly to Software so it downloads the file and the necessary data and shows the app.
