Bad behavior

Steps to reproduce:
 1. Open gtk3-demo.
 2. Maximize the window.
 3. Start typing anything to initiate a search in the TreeView on the left of the window.

Expected behavior:
A small textbox appears at the bottom of the TreeView, showing what I have typed so far.

Actual behavior:
The textbox is drawn mostly below the lower edge of the screen.

See the attachments for a comparison of what this looks like when the window is not maximized (in which case the behavior is appropriate), and when the window i maximized (in which case the text box is drawn off screen).

I forgot to include some additional information.

Distribution: Debian Testing
Desktop environment: Gnome (Wayland)
libgtk-3-0 version: 3.22.24-3

I have only tested this on Wayland, someone else was able to reproduce this on Wayland but not on X11.

Let me know if more information is needed.
