Description Bastien Nocera 2017-11-19 14:07:43 UTC
As a "resume session" feature. Scanning large documents with hundreds of pages would require keeping simple-scan opened during the whole scan process, which might be hours long. Being able to re-open a PDF as if it was a previous scan would be useful.

It should at least remember that across sessions

(The scanning example application in "The Inmates Are Running the Asylum" remembers old scans across sessions without needing a save, but I'm not sure remembering *all* the sessions is a good idea when we might be scanning loads of individual pages)
