GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 788322
Simple-scan freezes when saving color scanned image to pdf
Last modified: 2017-12-06 16:51:32 UTC
I use simple-scan v.3.24.0 with up-to-date ubuntu zesty. I have downloaded with bzr and after compiling I reproduce the freeze (v.3.25.1) When I scan one color page and save to pdf simple-scan freezes (can't even move its window). Until Force quit pop-up appears no button is working. Then it disappears and trying to save continues, but "cross" button (close) works. File is correctly saved. If trying to save 2 scanned pages, this errors and waiting happens twice. These seem to me the important log messages: [+92,41s] DEBUG: ui.vala:2197: Saving state to /home/jaume/.cache/simple-scan/state [+92,73s] DEBUG: ui.vala:2197: Saving state to /home/jaume/.cache/simple-scan/state [+112,61s] DEBUG: ui.vala:688: Saving to 'file:///home/jaume/Documents/borram.pdf' [+191,04s] WARNING: Unrecognized parameter (density-unit) passed to JPEG saver.
