Description Charlie Turner 2017-09-12 09:44:09 UTC
I got a screencast of what I was calling "corruption" in #epiphany, you can also notice after I press first key, a blue selection flash very briefly shows, which is quite jarring.

CPU: i7-3770S
GPU: Intel IvyBridge integrated
X11

Just to update what was said in #epiphany,

<hergertme> cturner, hrmm, that might be a page flipping issue somewhere, im not sure what we could be doing to cause that to be an issue
<hergertme> the code isn't *that* fancy
<hergertme> although we do a decent number of configure-events for the animation, possible that during a configure we need a new buffer from the GPU and if its loaded, we don't get one in a reasonable amount of time

This problem only seems to happen when my system is under heavy load. The blue selection flicker I originally reported happens all the time, but in the screencast I managed to upload, you don't see it.
