It seems the current logics is:

- when set to "Text", the scan is grayscale.
- when set to "Photo", it is color.

It makes sense as a default. But it should be possible to scan in Text mode in colors too and vis-versa. In other words, these should be separate settings for each mode (same as you have settings for "Text/Photo resolution").
