GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 787052
preceding events are forgotten on modifying recurring events
Last modified: 2017-11-24 22:36:13 UTC
When a recurring event is modified, the events preceding the modified event are deleted, even after the change is applied to 'All events' How to reproduce: 1. Create some recurring event and save Say, a daily recurring event "Test" from Sept. 1 to Sept. 10 2. Now click the event on some other day to edit the event Say, click on "Test" from Sept. 3 3. Now edit the event -> click Done -> Click 'All Events' Say, rename the event to "Testing" Result: The events preceding Sept. 3 (1 and 2) are deleted. As the change is requested to be applied on All events, it shouldn't delete the past events.
Created attachment 359844 [details] [review] This commit removes unnecessary change of source of a recurrent event so that preceding event of selected do not get deleted. But it shifts entire event to selected source. It is a partial patch. I am working on shifting of the recurrent event.
