Description Marinus Schraal 2017-08-28 13:05:39 UTC
As suggested in #776486 . Investigate the possibility of giving feedback to users based on the current tracker status.

There are currently a bunch of issues:

1. music doesn't do live updates (yeah i know, bad) - we need to rewrite core infra to get that to work

2. we really use tracker by proxy through grilo, grilo does not keep track of status. It just lets us now that changes are done after the fact.

3. (following from 2) we could probably use tracker directly (as it is currently key to our local story) through TrackerMinerManager. Although it seems somewhat too generic for our use case (it doesn't give us a clear handle on where the miner is and we are just interested in ~/Music)
