Description Naji 2017-07-07 20:40:32 UTC
It's really hard to use the touchpad in Gnome 3. Synaptic driver on Unity works great, but libinput in Gnome 3 doesn't work as well. Several issues:

1. When I move the cursor with the touchpad to a specific point, it glides over the stop point. It makes it really hard to pinpoint click a button. It isn't a crisp stop.

2. The speed of the trackpad is really slow, even when set to the highest setting in the Gnome Tweak Tools.

The touchpad works so much better with Synaptic driver and config tools. Please tell me that this is a temporary issue. It makes the Thinkpad touchpad unusable with Gnome 3.
