Which version of Evince were you using? Same for Poppler.

What action were you doing when Evince creased?

Can you reproduce the crash reliably? May you provide a document test case?
Comment 2 Hussam Al-Tayeb 2017-06-13 20:05:00 UTC
poppler 0.55
evince from "git.gnome.org/evince" master branch.
It is random. It happens around once a week. I think it was during resizing or clicking on the title bar.
The pdf file is an ebook that I'm not really supposed to be redistributing. I have it on dropbox though. Would it be ok if I email you a link?
Thank you.

I am upgrading now to poppler 0.56.0 which contains a lot of crash fixes according to the changelog. So hopefully this particular crash was an upstream poppler issue.
