Screen-shot showing that Dark Theme is turned on but not working

I installed gnome-builder 3.24.1 in Ubuntu 17.04 and the dark theme does not work. Please see the attached screen-shot.

As you might imagine by how things look in your screenshot, we don't officially support the Ubuntu (Ambiance) theme. Currently only Adwaita is supported.

The "Dark" theme switch just sets the "dark" variant of a theme, and it may be that Ambiance does not have a dark variant (I'm not sure).

Ambiance does not have a dark variant.
