GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 781002
Wrong extension shown as installed in GNOME Software
Last modified: 2018-01-24 17:32:10 UTC
In a fresh install of Fedora Workstation 26 Alpha, there are a handful of extenstions that are installed by default from the Fedora Repos as RPMs. Some of these are also installable from the 3rd party source of the GNOME extenstions website in GNOME Software too. However, on a Fresh install of Fedora 26, the 3rd Party Source extenstions are erroneously shown as being installed, when it is the RPM version that is actaully installed.
I guess they have the same UUID and are matched by the shell extensions plugin.
