In Mozilla Firefox and Google Chromium it’s possible to enter https:www.gnome.org and the browser will automatically complete that to https://www.gnome.org, that means it will add the slashes. It’d be great, if you Epiphany allowed that too.

I tested with Epiphany 3.22.6, and it doesn’t work there.
