Description Thomas Schwinge 2017-01-18 09:41:50 UTC
Using an audio CD's disc ID, Rhythmbox looks up metadata for audio CDs using MusicBrainz. But instead of using the MusicBrainz release's tracklist, rhythmbox apparently then looks up the metadata (track artist, track title) for the CD's individual tracks from the MusicBrainz recordings associated with the MusicBrainz release, which I think is wrong: it should use the release's tracklist instead.

This is Debian rhythmbox version 3.4.1-2.

Something like the attached patch maybe; has been only very lightly tested, so far. I've never had any exposure to the rhythmbox source code before, so don't know about its coding standards, and so on.
